So basically as you can tell todays blog post have arrived rather late today (2.7.18) due to things happening that I wish not to speak of right now or might not ever but I’m on the mends slowly. However my apologies for that. I literally had my whole weekend planned to organise myself what I wanted to write all in my head; especially for today’s blog post for Hustle and Bustle Advice of Blogging, this was meant to be about being organised on what you want to write and what ideas you may have in the near future.
You could say I can still write about it you know. I actually could I just need to stop beating myself up about what happened over the weekend. Which is true. I need to stop and take control again. After falling asleep for a bit to regroup my thoughts and what I want to write about this. I’m not going to change the opening or the title it’s staying as it because knowing me I’ll be ending up saying the same thing to the original piece that I started.
How to be organise your blog?
In this side heading you will find in this blog on how to be organised in what you would like to write. This also works with blogging on YouTube than having hit and miss or dropping a load of blogs each day because you feel like you have to and so on. Also it works in normal life as well because I prefer to schedule myself monjority of the time so I know what I’m doing.
To be able to organise your blog you need to know wether your going to have set categories for you blog post like I do or not. I find for myself having set categories for each blog post helps me when I know which ones I’m writing for and then in the titles for example for this one as you can tell I put Star Life Categories – Hustle and Bustle Advice of Blogging – Organisation goes out of the window over the weekend. Sometimes I put the date on sometimes I don’t it depends on how I feel but normally when it’s like Everyday Online Diary Entries or Online Diary Entries I tend to because it will give that feel factor of it’s actually a diary entry.
I now and then write them for most post but not all the time; you even may notice that I’ve started to write dates in the post like this one because I know in a few days or weeks or months or years to come people will revisit and think oh this was written but it will still have the same effect in the future like the present time. This is because you still want people to read your old past post even they are reading your present; trust me pin pointing my old post and my new post has become so much easier doing the whole categories with the titles, the dates and so fourth and the reason behind it is that when I come to writing up my stats I know where to put them without getting so confused.
How do you schedule what you want to write?
When it comes to scheduling what you want to write is sometimes hard you may find you just want to upload everything but this may not be a great idea because I’ve made a few mistakes doing that. The reason for it is because you’ll find that it will get missed or not be picked up by your readers as it might be too much for them.
Sometimes you may find that you write a blog and think this isn’t what I wanted I’m not ready to post them yet. That’s when you find a neat button when you about to upload the post it may say immediate post with the date and time I know WordPress does because I schedule my blogs all the time. You can set it on a different date and time when you want it; I know that WordPress as about four categories, publish, drafts, schedule and bin. You can always check your schedule what’s going out soon so you can remember and scheduling is also comes under organisation because if you forget a day to post for some odd reason something has happened on the day. You wouldn’t have to worry it be a nice surprise when you look up your stats and be like “oh yeah I remember writing that and schedule that for today. I don’t have to feel so bad about not posting anything”
It is a common thing to forget or something happens like for example my weekend I know I published over the weekend even when things happened. It’s one of those things I beat myself up about it wether I have or not but at the end of the day I tell myself it’s okay you’ll bounce back. You have your full team of stags behind you and they aren’t leaving you behind.
